I find inspiration in a clever mistake.
I enjoy trouble shooting a wardrobe by designing corrective pieces
and tend not measure any of my materials before making a prototype.
On occasion, a design will organically develop as I work. Certain designs result in completely different forms than I had imagined. For example, I originally thought the piece shown below was a double tiered belt!
This process is meditative and
I often lose track of the time spent
as the design develops before me.

Many of my clients over the years have made the observation that my designs are very free. With that statement, they express the essence of my creative pursuits: Spontaneity is vital.
